Heritage Sash Windows

Our new timber Heritage Sash Windows have been carefully designed to suit listed buildings and traditional properties in conservation areas

Mindful of the importance of preserving the architectural character of our historic buildings, we have replicated the classic slim design and period detailing you see on many of the original old-style windows.

Our meticulously crafted Heritage Sash Windows feature:

  • A 40mm mid-rail
  • 14mm heritage double glazing
  • 9mm external beading
  • 24mm solid through-bars
  • Traditional, premium hardware
  • 160mm frame depth

We offer two different opening mechanisms to suit the style and age of your property; Cords and Weights and Spiral Balance.

All our Heritage Sash Windows are made-to-measure to modern performance standards, with 14mm double ‘heritage glazing’ and timber from sustainable sources.

By drawing on our 200 years of timber craftsmanship, we believe we have achieved the perfect balance between meeting modern lifestyles and creating a truly authentic look.

Heritage Sliding Sash Windows – Spiral balance

Spiral Balance

A modern alternative that operates smoothly through pre-tensioned springs discreetly hidden within the timber frame. These are particularly well-suited for properties with smaller reveals or restricted spaces.

Cords and Weights 

– A refined version of the old-fashioned pulley mechanism often found in Georgian, Victorian, and Edwardian homes.

The bar for the Heritage Sliding Sash window is a solid 24mm through bar. The bar is made from timber.
