Heritage Doors
Our timber Heritage Doors have been carefully crafted to complement the character of listed buildings and older properties in conservation areas
For greater versatility, Heritage Doors can be made as single or double doors and can be either outward- or inward-opening. They can be offered with solid through-bars, with flush or raised and fielded panels, and in Standard or Premium specifications, customised to match your home’s age and style.
Traditional period features
Our Heritage Doors offer traditional period features and ironmongery, making them an obvious choice for listed buildings or houses in conservation areas:
- Deep 92mm softwood frames with ovolo mouldings
- 24mm solid timber through-bars supporting separate glazed panes
- 14mm heritage double glazing, combining slimness with energy efficiency
- 9mm external beading, hand-applied to imitate a traditional putty-style bead
- Traditional or Premium hardware in a range of colours

Bars
The bar for the Heritage door is a solid 24mm through bar with an ovolo mould on the inside. The bar is made from timber. The door is externally beaded (9mm hand applied timber bead to imitate putty-style bead)

Glass and Panels
Heritage doors are supplied with 14mm Slimline Heritage Double Glazing (4-6-4):
- Float glass – standard, non-toughened glass to both sides. Standard Ug-value: 2.1 W/m²K
- Toughened glass – toughened glass to both sides. Standard Ug-value: 2.1 W/m²K
Door panels (uninsulated MDF):
- 14mm flush panel – available with either a flush or grooved finish
- Raised and fielded panel (14mm / 29mm) – as pictured below
