Heritage Casement Windows
Our new timber Heritage Casement Windows have been carefully crafted to complement the character of listed buildings and older properties in conservation areas
The precise detailing of their solid timber design reflects the historic casements commonly found on Georgian and Victorian buildings, as well as in rural cottages and farmhouses.
For greater versatility, they are available in Top Hung, Side Hung, or Fixed Sash configurations, and offered in standard or premium specifications, customised to match your home’s age and style.
Traditional period features
Our standard Heritage flush casements offer traditional period features and ironmongery, making them a sympathetic choice for houses in conservation areas:
- Deep 92 mm softwood frames with ovolo mouldings
- 24mm solid timber through bars supporting separate glazed panes
- 14mm heritage double glazing combining slimness with energy efficiency
- 9mm external beading (hand applied to imitate putty-style bead)
- Traditional hardware, including monkey-tail or teardrop handles
- Friction Stay hinges, fitted flush to the frame
- Espagnolette three-point locking for security
- All standard and RAL colours plus dual colours
Discreetly hidden trickle vents can also be added as required.
Premium options for listed properties
For listed properties requiring a higher specification or windows with a stricter like-for-like appearance, we offer an additional range of premium options:
- Black, Gold or Stainless steel finished butt/knuckle hinges
- Matching Opera and Regent hardware
- Authentic Peg and stay hardware
- Solid Softwood or Hardwood frames
Our Heritage Casements are designed to complement our Heritage Sash Windows, creating a cohesive period appearance.
