Three credits are available for the finishing elements in a home.BRE include internal doors, kitchen and bedroom furniture as well as external doors and windows within the specification.

Most Eco Home assessors do not apply for these credits as historically they have not been cost effective. However our research shows that a typical property contains 1.25m³ of finishing timber, of which 0.95 or 76% can be obtained from certified sources so maximum credits will be gained. Allan Brothers redwood windows and doors are FSC certified and will contribute one third of the timber elements required for maximum credits.
